Obedience Program
Our Obedience Training Program is designed for all medium to large size dogs, purebred or mixed breed. The goal is to produce an on-lead and off-lead obedient companion. Obedience Training is an investment - well mannered dogs are happy dogs and participate in family activities rather than spending time alone crated or kenneled. Gun Dog Programs
Palmetto Creek Kennels offers several Gun Dog Training options. We can build a basic retriever, an advanced retriever or an upland hunter. Our program's focus is on creating a field ready dog - a hunting dog. We use a lot of the same training techniques used for competitive dogs however there is a distinct difference in training a hunting retriever. We expose the dogs to boats, blinds, dog hides, decoy spreads (land and water), gun conditioning and bird conditioning.
